How often should you spray your dog? Every time they go outside?
It really depends on how active your dog is and how much he goes out. A good rule of thumb is if you can smell the product (pleasant minty fragrance), you know it's working. kin + kind recommends giving an extra application before going on a hike where ticks and other pests could be present in large numbers, such as in high grass and woods.
Is it used as a treatment as well as a repellant?

I spray my shih tzu from behind nightly before we go outside to try to avoid getting it in her eyes. Then, I spray some on my hands to pat it on her ears, top of her head, under her mouth, neck and underneath her body. She always runs and rubs her eyes on the rug. After that she doesn’t seem to mind. So far, no fleas and ticks. I took her off of Simparica Trio.

Kin + Kind spray works great. My dog, Columbo, is way less resistant to getting this flea spray put on him like he was with other sprays I have tried. He just hates getting wet or any kind of moisture put on his body. Now I can put this on him every time we go for a walk.
