Colostrum-38 is a powdered form of Bovine's first milk. All mammals produce colostrum when their milk comes in that helps strengthen their young's immunity to fight off disease. There's an ingredient that's naturally in colostrum that's responsible for eliminating or improving the symptoms of allergies and helping the immune system deal with disease-causing organisms.
FACT: Research has identified an ingredient called proline-rich polypeptide (PRP) as one of the main components of colostrum responsible for eliminating or improving the symptoms of allergies. It's also thought to be useful for other autoimmune conditions. PRP is reported to stimulate an under-active immune system into dealing with disease-causing organisms and it can also suppress an overactive system that results from autoimmune disorders and allergic reactions.
Gloria Dodd DVM states: “Colostrum’s healing effects are multifaceted. I have become a believer and recommend it in all ill animals and people no matter what the cause, in arthritic, allergic and autoimmune conditions. I have found it has reduced my allergy expressions of migraines and psoriasis since I have been taking 2 capsules 3 times daily.”
Colostrum contains over 90 immune factors, including the naturally-occurring Immunoglobulins IgG, and IgA. It provides over 70 different Growth Factors for cellular support. Bovine colostrum for dogs provides bioactive proteins, peptides, and probiotics.

We love dogs and we try to give them the best life possible. Money is no object when it comes to their food and veterinary care ... but half of adult dogs today will still get cancer.
That's a staggering statistic - and it's a statistic we want to do something about.
And that's how Dogs Naturally was born - out of a need to get back to basics and change our dog's health care from chemicals, drugs, pesticides, antibiotics and processed foods, to whole fresh foods, proven natural supplements and a strong, healthy immune system. We believe the path to a truly healthy dog lies not in protecting him from disease with chemicals, but in supporting his health and immune system so he doesn't get disease in the first place.
We believe that good health and disease resistance come from within - so we work with leading holistic veterinarians to help dog owners like you give their dogs the gift of good health through a more natural lifestyle.
